Emerald Bowl
Any of you haters even entertaining the idea of flying out? I know I'll be at this game, where hopefully we can whoop up on the ugliest uniforms in sports:
Why are the linemen in white? Don't they know black is slimming?
Most of you got a text message from me, but I'll repreat: floor space with which crashing can be accommodated will be offered, in my apartment, where there will also be beer and awkward late-night cuddling. Apparently thanks to Virgin, Southwest, and others, you should be able to get round-trip tix for under $300. Not that I've ever seen this done, mind you.
This will be my first Maryland game since, like, early '05 or even late '04...I can't remember.
Thanks to Jeebus that Stanford beat Cal, because otherwise it would have been a pain in the ass to get tix to this game (Berkeley being a twenty-minute mass transit ride from SF).
