Posted by: John at February 20, 2007 12:25 PMGoddammit. Is something enabled that won't let me embed a youtube video? Ricky?
Posted by: Chris at February 20, 2007 04:57 PMGot up very early this morning after a late night last night to hear the debut show this morning. Just glad to have him back. Here's hoping they recreate the magic of immediately previous incarnation of the show.
Posted by: roy at February 20, 2007 05:24 PMI didn't try to listen live, but I have been listening to it since I got home today. I thought its been pretty good, Tony's inability to figure out the schedule was funny. I prefer Stephen Hunter to Joe Barber (Hunter wrote one of my favorite books of all time "Point of Impact") but Barber's not bad. I do miss Andy, but it was pretty neat that Tony seemed to rip SportsTalk980 for holding Andy and the rest. I need to figure out how long the various breaks are so I can skip through traffic reports from hours ago. Also, does anyone know if they're going to podcast this?
Stinks.
Posted by: Mike at February 20, 2007 07:32 PMWhat we need is a flash or light or something to tell us when they are coming back from commercials. I can't listen to 100 commercials for Catholic cemeteries.
Posted by: Pat at February 21, 2007 09:38 AMThere is a podcast link on the originally posted webpage. Good luck because I have no idea how a podcast works.
Posted by: John at February 21, 2007 09:57 AMPodcast = mp3.
Posted by: Chris at February 21, 2007 02:45 PMFor those of you who use iTunes, if you subscribe to the podcast through iTunes you don't get any commercials. This is particularly important because yesterday I had a problem with missing the leading portion of the news, which then becomes part of the discussion.
And to paraphrase Adrian Fenty, mayor of "The District" (that's for you Roy), I have the Old-Time Tony Kornheiser Religion. I am awfully tempted to buy one of the current TK coffee cups, but if they had an Old Time Tony Kornheiser Religion coffee cup, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Additionally, the discussion of the status of the NASA chickie's diaper needs to stop.
