Daddy Did It

Pat and Densie got married:

And, of course, we celebrated (apparently John's shot wasn't so good):

I know I had a great time this weekend -- probably the most fun I have had since my own wedding. It was great to see everyone -- and Pat and Denise certainly know how to throw a good party. Congrats you two -- and I hope the honeymoon was a lot of fun.

Oh - and if anybody finds Tunde's shoes -- I am sure he would like those back. You can probably find those at the same spot where I misplaced my dignity....

This was the best time we've had in years. Thanks to everybody involved for making this a most memorable event. We have not seen this many cases of "pink eye" in one place since the 70's...

The smart money in this competition ain't on Roy right now. I have to think the Big J will complete her merger with Nelson, Inc. before Dr. Levy has run enough data to know that it's time to get married (in a Hawaiian shirt and sandals, of course).

For the record, in this competition, I pay out like taking Dartmouth to win an NCAA title in women's football. Yes I know there's no such thing, that's part of the joke.

And a big thanks to Pat's parents for having Pat so we could have such a good weekend. And triple thanks to all the parents for the wide-open, top-shelf bar (not to mention the food, which was excellent all around). That was the best "alcohol availability situation" I've ever experienced at a wedding. You may have noticed I took full advantage - why do they call it Johnny Walker is drinking it makes you fall flat on your face?

Walker?
