I, for one...

...welcome our new Chinese overlords. So the Japanese rule us by offering better products - cars, electronics, sensual massuses - at a lower price than American competition. China's response? Offer even cheaper and obviously illegal products for a price that appears well below an imaginable minimum.

How do they do this? First, they pirated an entire big-name company, from the assembly line to the company letterhead. Now they're copying entire cars, and here they come for the price of a used Hyundai. Basically, as I understand it, which I might not, the cost of a lawsuit is handled easily by the savings created when you don't have to do research, engineering, design, or trademarking. Those clever Chinese - first they get nine gallons of rice in a little white box, and now this.

I've seen Chinese knock-off DVDs...if the cars are of a similar quality to the Underworld: Evolution shitpile I just watched, you can expect to melt inside of the Chery QQ (yes, that's supposed to resemble Chevy) or, at the very least, feel like a douchebag.

The Chinese have been getting sued lately for doing this to a lot of different cars. I like the fake Benz..

If the Chery is indeed going to be sold for 20k in the US, it is going to have to be much nicer than it looks for it to make any difference. There are quite a few new cars that can already be purchased for substantially less.

I think the one they're talking about rivals like a 40K GMC SUV...so, basically, they're going to rope you in with, "see, same thing, half price."

For an extra .49 they put two eggrolls in the glovebox. If you snap the driveshaft in half you learn what an attentive listener you are, and that you will have many friends. License plate numbers are, in fact, lucky. Interior headroom is based around a 5' 4" adult. Top speed is 56 mph, the car is only operable in the right lane, and the Chinese car wil never, ever make a right on red.
