OMG! Clouds!
Watch out... clouds! I just thought this was funny.
Oh, and I want to give a shout out to my main man Jeebus, who got schooled on this day, 1,973 or so years ago. I will be sure to mourn your passing by eating chocolate bunnies and cramming Peeps into my mouth.
And props to John Albers for posting the 1,000th entry on TerrapinTables! It only took me 21 days to realize it...
Posted by Rick at April 14, 2006 10:17 AMOn the chocalate bunnies & Peeps comment - Alex has been going to "Sunday" school (on a Wednesday) with one of her friends, so she's been hearing a little bit about Jesus. (Originally, I didn't think it was too bad because it was little more than a daycare; now they're starting to get into more of the indoctrination part, so I'm not sure if I'm going to let her keep going). Anyway, the other day she asked me what bunnies and eggs had to do with death and the resurrection. So I told her the truth, that they were pagan traditions for the spring celebration of new life that Christianity incorporated into their tradition. But man, it made me proud that she's already starting to question things about Christian tradition, and she's not just taking it all at face value.
