Texas sucks

This almost seems like entrapment.

There are a lot of dangerous and stupid things people do when they're intoxicated, other than get behind the wheel of a car," Beck said. "People walk out into traffic and get run over, people jump off of balconies trying to reach a swimming pool and miss."

I understand that the government is only trying to protect people from themselves, but saying public drunkeness is a crime only becuase it leads to other crimes is stupid. Driving drunk and jaywallking are already crimes. So is being really loud/obnoxious to other people. So if a drunk guy does any of those things, then arrest him for those crimes.

Stop being rational, Rick, this is Texas we're dealing with.

Regular bars, if the cops followed people to their cars and waited 'til the y turned the key - it's fucked, but they'd have a point.

Hotel bars, fucking with guests, wh only had to make it to an elevator? Fucking lame. Period. Fuck the police, comin' straight from the underground...

Even though no one will scroll down far enough to see this with the pictures of Gay Gay up there, what gets me is that in Texas you can essentially carry a concealed weapon wherever you like, with virtually no reason to do so, but you can't get drunk at a bar.
