Good thing none of us were smart/rich

According to this article, it certainly would suck to be going to Yale now. Now this is certainly something that would justify a student riot.

"Among other things, drinking games will be banned along with related paraphernalia, such as the tables used to play beer pong."

"Drinking games are meant to get people drunk," Betty Trachtenberg, Yale dean of student affairs said.

Isn't drinking supposed to get you drunk? If you want to prevent people from getting drunk, ban alcohol. And how are they banning just beer pong tables without banning all tables. Most of us have played beer pong on some pretty questionable surfaces, they don't all have to be custom-made tables that look like a football field.

That is the beauty of drinking games. If you are good enough at them, you can get other people drunk. Or at least drunker. Or at least drunker quicker. Or maybe as drunk as you already are.

"If you want to prevent people from getting drunk, ban alcohol."

Mike, Mike, Mike. Good. Now they're gonna do that next.

And yes, if there were no table, I would play beer pong on the hood of Pat's truck, on the top of the grill, or on Rick's back.

In a more sobering note (awful pun intended...wait for it) yesterday was the first day since I moved that I didn't have at least one drink. It was boring as shit. So, tonight, bottom's up FishEye Pinot.

That is crap. I don't have much sympathy for Yale or Harvard students, but still... crapola. Hopefully they'll still perform neat pranks.

To the person at Budweiser responsible for this release: How stupid/drunk were you when you put this together?
"Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. said it will quit marketing a drinking game called "Bud Pong" after discovering that some people were imbibing beer during the game instead of water, as directions specified. "

"Such games can be especially dangerous for younger drinkers and college students who get wrapped up in the competition and drink unhealthy amounts of alcohol, he said."

I am shocked... SHOCKED, I tell you. Won't somebody think of the children?!?!?!?
