Terrapin Tables

On the nerd front, the Razr takes a mean picture. This is about 75% of the original in terms of dimension, and about half of the original filesize (additional jpeg compression in Photoshop CS). Kickass image for a phone. And mine is black, so I am cooler than Rick.

That's crazy early. Boo. I always thought that Thanksgiving was the rule, and have only seen it as early as mid-November. But September? Jesus.

On a sortof related note, I saw some Halloween stuff up this weekend while I was in Chicago. It was in bars and in people's windows. I figured that was kind of early.

And I don't think my Razr takes great pictures. I think having lots of light helps though. All of my pictures tend to be taken at bars. Come to think of it, bars are the only places I go where anything interesting happens anyway.

hell i think it's early for halloween decorations let alone thanksgiving or christmas. perhaps they just had some cinder blocks to display and needed background decorations.

This looks like the one I used to work at, if that opening to the right goes out to the nursery. Ah, the memories. I once found a beetle there that made it into the local newspaper. No joke. Yes, ladies & gentlemen, this is where many of us grew up. No wonder we're all dysfunctional.
