60 Minutes

So, did anybody catch the "big" 60 Minutes story on the CarterCopter last night? After how much the producers built it up, telling us to make sure to get people to watch it to make them fans of our technology, and to beef up our web server for the millions of visitors we were going to get, and possibly even get more people to man the phones for all the calls we'd be getting; man, what a disappointment. They showed our aircraft for what, 2 minutes? I don't think we've gotten any phone calls from it, yet, and we've only gotten something like 2000 visitors to the site since last night. And that's after I spent all day Friday working with our web host provider to get the site on a dedicated server, and got a new account with a different provider (actually with Affordable Host), to host all of the videos so that they wouldn't bog down our main server, and all of the associated html editing to point to that server. What a waste of time. Oh well, at least I got my picture in the local paper. The story even made the front page. And the story on the Science Channel was supposed to be pretty good, so that's something.
