Cue the 80's music

So it looks like there will be a live-action Transformers movie for the fall of next year. Michael Bay (The Rock, Armageddon) is set to direct, so you know Mike will like it. We'll see if the soundtrack consists of more than three songs, which would be a step up from the animated movie.

Didn't someone bring this up a while ago? It's nice to see it's moving along, but it pains me to see Michael Bay's name attached. Guh. Should I assume this will be along the lines of Roger Rabbit, with real people and CGI Transformers? So who gets voice work? I vote the dude from America's Most Wanted for Optimus Prime, Gilbert Godfreid for Megatron, Issac Hayes for Jazz, Larry the Cable Guy for Ironhide, Wayland Smithers as Starscream, and Method Man as Soundwave.

Yes, Method Man. Roy would like to request Ludacris & Toni Braxton participate as well.

let's get a few things straight.

i will almost certainly want to see this movie, regardless of how awful it seems, unless it has only the more recent characters, who i never got into.

and yes, i vote for toni braxton. i'd vote for tone loc too. his voice is cool. doesn't exactly do the same thing for me as toni braxton, but hey, there's only one toni braxton.

mmm, toni braxton.
