Where's the Cake?

Here's the cake. A friend is moving to North Carolina (come on and raise up) this week, so we're giving her a little send-off here in my shithole house. She digs the Homestar Runner, so Aaron and I decided to surprise her with a custom cake. His was the idea, mine was the execution. Actual size is about 18" x 14".

No, Rick, I'm not going to make you a Homestar Runner cake. Or a Strongbad crepe. Or a King of Town beignet. Any nerd pastry at all - I'm not doing it.

Oh, ingredients: I baked/cut/constructed the cake, dyed the vanilla frosting, those are Oreo eyes, and a Hershey's syrup smile. Werd.

chris, that's a really awesome cake!
in other news did peeps hear about r.j. bentley's being on fire last week? my mom, not normally the gossip queen of college park, told me about it before Easter Vigil mass. we looked it up; apparently a kitchen fire ignited portions of the building. it will reopen sometime this week though according to the diamondbackonline news item. riveting story i know...

Yeah, saw the Bentley's story in today's Diamondback. I don't care about the building or anything since everything's insured - but I do hope no kickass football memorabilia was damaged.
