I do not belong in certain places...

So Judy and I were up in NYC for the past few days, where we had a great time, because there's about a billion things to do up there. Random highlights:

  • Watching someone get proposed to on the ice rink at Rockefeller Center (the father of the bride-to-be asked me directions on how to get there, so Judy and I knew about it before it happened - but neither of us correctly guessed which couple it was)
  • Having a chicky invite Judy and I to be in the audience for MTV's TRL for a live taping. Despite me failing to provide ID showing I was between 16-24, she still let us in. I pretended to be "hip" as people with far more energy yelled like schoolgirls (I guess they were schoolgirls) at pseudo-celebrities like Shia LaBeouf, who I never heard of before. I'm sure I will looked thrilled when I watch the tape my sister made.
  • The Broadway show, Spamalot, was actually very good. I laughed at every scene, which is rare for me for a movie, let alone an actual show. I recommend to anyone who's not a fan of real Broadway shows with any sort of actual meaning.
  • My second TV appearance at the Jane Pauley show. That's right... Jane Pauley. We were graced by the "fashion expert"... uh, I don't her name, but she hosts a show on the Style network that involves her telling people they don't know how to dress, and that they are bad people unless they know how to extend their body line with appropriate color-matching (or some shit). I learned things like how to propery fit a bra. Good times. At least I got some good parting gifts: 4 sets of matching bras and panties, along with a women's watch. Yeah. Fun. Good thing the watch sells for several hundred dollars on eBay. Score.
