Those gullible Harvard kids

Not only a good idea, but these guys actually pulled off a really great prank on Harvard students. We could definitely do this next year if we really felt like it. Watch the video if you can - Gary Glitter in all his glory.

I see a copy cat prank @ Cameron Indoor.....road trip?

If we go to Cameron - at least 3 of us would be in jail before we got out of the car.

Good prank though, it has to be really, really hard to pull that off.

Yeah...if we went to Cameron, we'd make Lasick's look like a Bic lighter.

In other news, Lasick's was burned to the ground yesterday by some arsonist. The Best Western - yeah, the one I mean when I say, "make a left at the Best Western to get to my house" - also took significant fire damage. For those that don't know the area (Nate) the two aren't close at all - maybe half a mile. So, two seperate arsons yesterday. No Diamondback online story yet, but it was the cover of the paper today. Despite Duke still sucking.

WTOP story from yesterday. Unlike the Irish Pizza Pub, it actually sounds as though the business will attempt to re-open.

Somebody help me with my memory. Is Lasick's the place with the liquor store attached where went a lot before turning 21 because of the lax ID checking?

Shit yeah - that's why I be pissed. It was the closest liquor emporium to my house. Now I have to drive 500 feet farther.

It is [was] the green-and-white craphole steakhouse with a craptacular liquor store attached.

Clarification - closest open-late liquor store to my house. Y'all know Village Pump be the shit.

I thought I'd check in with you boys to see what is going on these days and alas, I find out that Lasicks has burned down!!!! I am crushed. I have such fond memories of buying beer there while underage (even though I had the best fake ID ever that never failed me).

Best Lasick's Memory:
Being underage and going to Lasicks. Being carded in Lasicks. Being allowed to buy beer in Lasicks. Being allowed to buy beer in Lasicks only if I pounded a beer with the old cashier guy. This happened on three different occasions. Nevermind that I was with other underage people including my 17 year old cousin. We all had to pound the beers before we were allowed to pay and leave. And by leave I mean drive home.

Way to contribute, Lasicks! For that, you will always have a place in my heart.

For those interested parties, here is the Diamondback article.
"Lasick's was determined a total loss by EMS officials, but its owner, Joe Lasick, has vowed to rebuild the family business"
