Daddy's Diary

If you have ever read "The Sports Guy" on ESPN, he does these running diaries for specific events (i.e., Super Bowls, World Series games, etc.) that are pretty good if you can follow along or relate. With that in mind, and a lovely Friday night drinking beer and watching TV alone, I did one of my own. Check it out. It is kind of long, but whatever. You kids have fun tomorrow at the Wake game. My aunt it getting married, so I will be there instead. Cheer on the seniors for me. Despite the current record, they have been the most successful seniors in the history of Maryland football. Have fun!

pat, good diary entry. i agree that you need a "sports gal" - i'm sure she'll find you soon. jesus dick vitale loves the dukies. honestly. my dad and i were watching the game and it was just ridiculous. INAPPROPRIATE! my friend dave decided not to apply for residency at Duke because he hates them so much. i guess he's a good TERP unlike myself and KatieJ. a note on the camden,nj thing. i was loading up the Boyz II Men CD on my computer the other day and RealPlayer had an interesting piece of trivia. there is a boyz 2 men blvd in camden, nj. road trip anyone? i can stop into the wal-mart down in NC to buy some guns for us...i'm happy that maryland football is over and we can turn to some athletic prowess by the bball team!

- I imagine part of the reason for UMD's popularity at this location was the players on Maryland from the New England area. As noted, Mike Jones, along with Fofana, as from Massachusetts, while Caner-Medley is from Maine. I imagine that games against BC in the future will be a different story.
- Mike Grinnon is the white flag of surrender. If he is in the game, the game is usually over for someone. That, or we are in foul trouble.
