Why? Because I drank like a complete asshat last night, got righteously smashed, and got back to Bob's at 3:00 am.
Then, I got to get up at 6 am for the Hot Rod thingy...still smashed. Chanting "be sober be sober be sober" to myself as I got dressed to sit in a hot rod for an hour (the yellow one, far left, in the fifth pic), then stand in the rain and look at hot rods for two more, then get back in a hot rod for another hour...which you better know is badass. Then, in the next two hours, had seven cups of coffee - and no food until 4:00. So, I'm still burping up acid (Prevacid can bite me...that shit sucks).
So, no drinks today. Just hours of my extended family miswording cliches, the pilfering (by me) of my cousin's bass guitar and assumed-actual-size Yoda cardboard cutout, and a game of chess where my schoolteacher cousin got whooped by my cousin Brian. As to Brian...picture Kubiak from "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," then make him a preteen. Unbelievable turn of events.
Also I ate about two pounds of turkey.
