Just so it can preserved for posterity, I thought we could pick who we think is going to the Super Bowl, and then check back in January. Also, it will serve as evidence of how stupid I am. Posted by John at September 10, 2004 12:53 PMi have no idea who to pick but maybe i'll get back to it later in the month (i was going to say the ravens). i do have to say that i thought the us open was much more exciting than the football game last night. five sets of roddick v. johannsen - such a great match. when i did switch to football from time to time i heard such wisdom as "a fumble is a fumble - they need to start realizing that fumbles happen" from none other than john madden. i think madden's partner in crime said to him at one point "isn't it so great that we get our own night for the football opener and that it is now such a celebration?". i'm happy to watch football but right now tennis is way more exciting!
