Kelly McGillis is playing Lady MacBeth at DC's Shakespeare Theatre. That is right, Kelly McGillis of "Top Gun fame. I could not make this up.
By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes . . . a wicked awesome barrel roll! May the song "Danger Zone" be stuck in your head for the remainder of the day.
Gah - did you see the picture of her as Lady M? Now it's certain - Hot Shots is superior in all ways to Top Gun. It's more fun to watch, it isn't about being gay, and the lead chick is better looking. Also, I'd rather watch a film starring a pet rock than one featuring Tom Cruise.

Needless to say, I was disappointed (this was when I was in high school, before I learned nothing ever lives up to the hype). She never once talked about how a MiG 21 has a problem with its inverted flight tanks, so it can't to a negative-g pushover.
