More wonderful moments from UMD administration:
-I have over $5000 in financial aid coming this semester. "Coming," that is, not "here." Allegedly, the check was mailed 8/20. Heard that before.
-I returned a late book last week, and have the reciept that states my account was billed $25. My student account reports a charge of $180. Uhh...
-And this warning regarding new ticketing policy (which subtracts loyalty points for no-show students); the parts in bold were made so by me:
"Please Note: If you request a Student Ticket and later determine that you cannot attend the game, please cancel your ticket to enable other students and student guests to attend the game. Requesting tickets and neither using nor cancelling them prior to 12:00 noon one day before gameday will result in the loss of Loyalty Points."
That's right kiddies, the Communications graduate that wrote that has us losing points for not attending the game over 24 hours before it happens. Perhaps I can get some assistance with time travel from all the science nerds.
