- Witnessing the 28 point-turn parking job at the O's game.
- The abomination that is the Orioles floppy hat.

- Missing Denise's BBQ
- Being reminded that I was going to miss Denise's BBQ
- Near miss on witnessing a no-hitter by a terps alum.
- Having to go back to work.

- the walk home. i'm not a proud man, but i will take credit for suggesting the slide to chad. easily the number 1 highlight of the weekend

Lowlights
- living the not-really-high-more-like-moderate life
- the sea of awkwardness at d's bbq that prompted reggie's quote

Highlights:
-Drinking with my brother-in-law
-Not paying for any beer because my other brother-in-law owns the place
-Watching two old guys play 9 ball for $20 a game, making shots you don't see except for on ESPN
-A constant supply of food from my mother-in-law, who even stayed up till we got back from the bar to feed us
Lowlights:
-Dropping Irma off at the airport, knowing I'm not going to see her for another week
-Getting kicked out of an after party on suspicion of being a cop
-Playing pool back at my brother-in-law's house, and not being able to make the same shots as those two old guys
-Having to work Sunday afternoon
Highlights:
-went to a baseball game, didn't get bored.
-discovered Azureus.
-seeing John's list and remembering I said something about covert Ops at Chuckie Cheese.
-thinking about setting the alarm clock for 9:30 am to see the last stage of the TdF, then deciding just to stay up since I'm never in bed before sunrise anyway. I was up until 1 pm.
-paid my overdue parking tickets...and they undercharged me by $30.
-D'Orazio Frozen ravioli - the good kind - half off at Giant.
-Turned Casey on to Firefox.
-Bought a PS1 memory card so I can resume complete owning of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the best side-scroller EVER. Period. Fuck Metroid, fuck Megaman, and Mario can do that Marlon Brando thing.
-remembering Epitonic.com, pulling down 95 mp3s in one night.
-finishing a high-quality download of Spiderman 2...it was pretty cool.
Lowlights
-writing, just now, that I turned my sister on.
-I still paid $90 in parking tickets.
-oversleping for the blood drive. Had I woken up before 2:00 I could have made it, but no.
-I lost my copy of Rounders. It was only VHS, but still.
-can't get the brakes on my Crosscheck to stop squealing.
-the constant ceaseless boredom that comes with raging insomnia (I go to sleep between 6 and 9 am every day, and usually get up just after noon). I built up a resistance to sleeping pills. At least I have guitars and video games.
-Forgetting to bid on this pimp ass jersey...but there's another one listed, so cross your fingers.
Highlights:
- Not working this weekend
- Two consecutive nights at Camden Yards with two different sets of people
- Seeing Kir and Leon
- Two consecutive nights out in Federal Hill
- Wearing the floppy hat both Friday and Saturday
- Wearing the floppy hat at Ropewalk in Federal Hill (of course it looked very stylish with a halter top and a jean skirt!)
- Hearing two firemen behind me at the game exchange the following "I bet she's no older than 26; why don't you ask her?; you don't ask a lady her age; she's a doctor, she knows the human anatomy and she might hurt me"
- Settling a bet from said firemen regarding my heritage (Jewish vs Italian)
- The man in front of me at Saturday's game giving me more attention than his girlfriend (so very flattering when an old man with few teeth pays you attention)
- Watching Leon win 30 dollars for guessing who'd be first to hit a homer
- Catching some ZZZZZZZZs til late Saturday morning
- Dusting some memories off my furniture
- One World Cafe with the girls Saturday
- Finding something better than a Starbucks Frappacino (I think Rain Delay would love me if he heard that!)
- Running into an old friend at the ballgame
- Giving and receiving phone numbers Saturday night
- Filling out forms to work in North Carolina in October
- Meeting a Marine (dating my sister!) who actually served in Iraq
- Spending time with the family
- Arriving in Clinton to find a motorcycle parked in our driveway along with the dumpster we've used for our old roof; and all the family cars parked out on the street
- Visiting the mountain house
- Toasting marshmallows and eating S'mores with my little cousins
- Remembering what it is like to be a kid
- Remembering how to take great pictures
- Watching the Marine kick ass in pool
- Thinking it'd be funny if Rick was one of the two drunk guys in Lowlights
- Reading for pleasure
Lowlights:
- Having to sit through the religion discussion between Rick and the lady in front of us at the O's game Friday night
- Losing to my mom and to my little cousin in pool
- Losing to my sister and the Marine at darts
- Watching two VERY drunk guys at the game dance for "best fan of the game" by licking each other's nipples; subsequently one got tossed and one sat in the wrong section after he got two more beers (some may argue this should be in the highlights section)
- The weather
First of all- Roy- what was Reggie's comment? I am intrigued! On to more important things...
Highlights:
* Roy being 3/3 and Paige being 2/3 for my summer BBQ festivities
* walking into the MD crew at Burke's and it wasn't even a pubcrawl
* Photo Hunt high score- sad that's a highlight, huh?
* Playing my first game ever of darts- and winning (then again we were playing against Chad)
* Sharing a wawa sandwich with Paige- thanks!!!
* Hope's cookies for dessert at the BBQ
* Hearing that Paige has successfully adopted my taco dip
Lowlights (some of which are actually highlights):
* Pat and John being IN HAVERTOWN on both Saturday and Sunday and NOT coming to my BBQ- so disappointing
* Walking into Burke's to be greeted by name by the bartender
* Having two beers spilled within the first five minutes in Burke's and getting blamed for it by the bartender
* Chad not understanding the importance of using the BAR tables rather than the shuffleboard tables for various objects
* Pat getting 6 pts in one turn of shuffleboard
* Missing the walk home because I live in the opposite direction
* Not going to the Phillies game on Saturday
* Me living in H-town and the rest of you clowns living in MD
