Dolphins Suck

Sucks to be Nate. Arrests in the off-season like they were the TrailBlazers, changing GMs more often then I change underwear, and now the best player on the offensive side calls it a day. Heh.

Now, EPSN calls Ricky's career "one of the most unusual NFL careers in recent history." I ask, who's goofier? Barrett Robbins' disappearing act and mental illness? Shockey getting so many props for four TDs in two years? Emmitt Smith bailing on his franchise for...the Cardinals? Seriously, who playing today/played in the last five years is gonna go down as a bigger basket case than Ricky Williams?

Yeah I just heard about this when I woke up. I have no idea what to think. I called my buddy DJ, who is a sports writer, and he says he's been getting tons of calls regarding the rumor mill. Some of the names being dropped are: Travis Henry (Bills love McGahee), Michael Bennett (Vikes love Onterrio Smith), Larry Johnson (Just isn't going to play in KC), Edgerrin James (Indy to get something for him before he bolts next year), William Green (Cleveland can't get rid of him fast enough)....blah blah blah

This sucks....

I read this last night, and have been trying to think of a better basketcase in recent memory in a team sports setting. He might take the cake - good work McCreary. I mean, Tyson is wacko, but that only effects him really. Rodman was nuts, but that was off the court for the most part.

Wonder if the Philly fans are still booing their selection of McNabb over Ricky Williams now?

The only guy I can think of who might be more of a basketcase is Blues hockey player Mike Danton, who plead guilty to charges that he tried to hire a hit man to kill his agent. Of course his celebrity is not nearly that of Williams, but he might be way crazier.

Oh yeah, that guy is much worse. I forgot about him.

I was specifically talking about NFL, because there are weirdies in every sport...I was expecting to see Ryan Leaf come up in conversation, because of his incredibly short fuse and complete inability to perform in a game, and I want to put an early nod in for Kellan Winslow the ninth, or whatever, because if he has "I'm a soldier" style breakdowns while playing for the number one college program in the history of the Earth, what the hell is he going to do playing for the Browns?

Chris, I think that K.W. comment is the best point you've ever made regarding football...
