Extra Long Ambulance

A little sad, but Manute Bol was seriously injured in a car accident. Apparently he was on SNL once, and he did fight William "The Refrigerator" Perry on Celebrity Boxing, for those of you not up on his actual career of basketball.

I am sure no one cares, but nothing has been posted today.

One of my favorite sports moments was that night he dropped 7 threes. He had had, like, 4 career three pointers before that, right? 7' 7" and he was bombing...hilarious. He totally kicked the Fridge's ass, and last I saw he was driving a Chevy Blazer with the driver's seat removed - he sat in the back seat. This dude can party with me anytime.

In other sports news, Calvin Murphy (NBA HoF, record for best FT% in a season, second alltime Rockets scorer) has been arrested for molesting five of his 14 children (by nine women).

After reading that article, I remember hearing somewhere about Manute Bol having killed a lion while he was still in Africa. So, I googled it, and stumbled across this page. It's a thread about fights between grizzlies, tigers, and lions, and which would most likely win. Apparently, lots of people have an opinion about it because it's a long thread that people have been posting to for over six months, now.

Gotta correct Chris here:

I'm pretty sure it was 6 3-pointers he dropped, which tied his career high of 18 pts. He actually did it twice, I think once when he was a Bullet and once as a Sixer...if memory serves me right.

Send it in big fella!
