FORE!

I know not many of you play golf, but those that do (Rick, Pat, John, Mike, whoever else) I was wondering if you'd like to get together next week sometime and play Willow Springs . It seems pretty cheap and small for us hackers....Let me know if/when you guys can do it, and I'll set us up.

Willow Springs is a really nice course. We played there a couple of weekends ago. I would suggest riding not walking if it is hot (kind of hilly), but for the price, it is a nice course.

As for next week, I don't know if I can slide out during the week, but next weekend would work for me on either Saturday or Sunday.

I'm always down for playing Nathan, just say when. I'll echo Pat as well, probably better to ride that course rather than drive, but I really enjoy playing it. Also, played the new nine holes at Blue Heron yesterday, its actually in pretty good shape, we ought to try to play there some time soon.

Yeah Blue Heron was in decent shape the last time I played, but I think they are asking too much money for that course. If you play 18 holes & ride it's 36 bucks! Too much money for too little course. We should definitely play Meade soon

Some people I work with played Compass Pointe which is on Ft. Smallwood Rd in Pasadena. I spoke with a guy yesterday about it, and he said it was probably the nicest public course he has played, and I believe they have 4 sets of 9 holes now. If you play around the right time, $40 to ride 18 isn't too terrible for a weekend.

I played there a few times when I lived in Pasadena. It's super nice, but they stagger T-Times 5 minutes apart, and it's kinda hard to get one right now. It's not unusual on a Par4 to have a group putting, another group lining up their approach, another group on the Teebox, and another group behind them waiting. They didn't have the other 2 9's done when I was there...I would be interested in checking those out.
