Obscenity

Seems some members of the FCC are okay with using the f-word as an adjective (you know, "Rick is so effing drunk") because, apparently, in that fashion, it's not obscene. Only the verb usage (you know, "Rick just effed the sleeve of that jacket") is, apparently, obscene.

While I'm all for profanity all over say, cable TV and family dinners, I really don't want to start seeing comercials for Fox's "Badass Effing Sunday Night" or whatever.

A jacket sleeve! I gotta write that down...

And I like watching the trends on TV shows to monitor the decine of traditional moral values. Not sure if this is a good thing though... if we start using curse words more, they become less effective, which means they're not as fun to use.

On the other hand, if we all start saying the F-word all day, then I think we'll have to come up with fun new words to use in it's place.

Sounds like the south park episode
"I have to crap & shit is acceptable. I have to shit is not"

I doubt we will ever be wanting for a supply of curse words. Our group has either created or endorsed the following terms: biznatch, triznatch, nabisco, fanta, neighbor, hater, vengeful slut & dickless whore, and I am sure there are others I can't even recall. Kudos.
