Al Franken has been hired to host a show on a forthcoming liberal radio network. I am not sure how this will affect me since Mr. Tony does my thinking for me, but at least I will have an alternative to Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Liddy. These men are the real axis of evil where in their demented wet dreams, there is a line where Charlton Heston hands you an automatic weapon and then you get to choose to shoot either homosexuals, people at an abortion clinic, or black guys playing quarterback.
Posted by John at January 14, 2004 11:17 AMI like that opinions like Franken's may be given as broad a stage as, say. Liddy, but I don't like that it's Franken doing it. He so whiny and smarmy...and he long ago stopped being funny. He does guest appearances on a lot of Comedy Central stuff, and it's usually painful to watch. Here's hoping the radio show is better.
