Much to the delight of Mr. Levy, you can now write off soccer mom mobiles and yuppy people-movers. You can write off up to 100K from taxable income if you buy an SUV over 3 tons (and use it for business purposes). Even the VW Touareg fits this description. Hopefully they will come with bad drivers and cell phones attached to their heads.
All this assures is that there will just be 1,000 more on the road this holiday season. Filled to the brim with soccer balls.
---and i do understand the incredible irony that i, in fact, drive an SUV (Ford Explorer - 7,700 lbs.) but I bought mine so we could all tailgate. eat it. seriously, i did. sad isn't it?---
