... or anyone else who speaks French.
What's the French word for skunk?
I can't find it in any on-line French dictionaries and mine is at home. (No comments on that one from the Peanut gallery thanks.)
Posted by Katy at September 11, 2003 03:34 PMMouffette. I used the fish, as the geeks call it. (5 points to whomever identifies why it's called the Babelfish)

Thanks to you both. (Very helpful John.) ;o)
Posted by: Katy at September 11, 2003 03:47 PMYup... tower of Babel and all that. I was going to dole out a whopping 50 geek points to anyone who points out that it's actually a reference to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (to which the author originally coined 'Babelfish' as a reference to the tower of Babel), but that's just too nerdy.
Posted by: Rick at September 11, 2003 03:51 PMDamn it. You didn't give me a chance to answer. I could have even gotten into the theory of how it all works, digesting telepatchic energy and all that. I guess I'm just being penalized for being out west, and having a job where I actually have to work instead of browsing the internet all day.
