Du Du Duuuuuuu Du HEY! We suck!

Thanks to everyone who came out last night, and brought their tremendous taco dip. Even though the game could have turned out better (check out the Sports Center highlights, the guy who is defending Latrez kicks the ball to a teammate as they are falling down. Isn't the fact that they were falling down mean there was contact before the ball got there? And if so, isn't that pass interference? Not that it is an excuse, because we should have won, but even Kevin Frazier said something about PI on Sports Center this morning). Anyway, it was fun, and Chad was so drunk he passed out on the couch last night, despite the fact his bed is just a few feet away. Yay Head Trauma! Good times....

I'm at work now, and I feel like I am wearing a costume, or some kind of reverse superhero. Currently respectable looking, and dressed appropriately, hours ago I was rolling around in the grass wearing a football helmet. Mild mannered legal person John Albers turns into drunken idiot after a few beers. Maybe I can be Irresponsibility Man or something. My right shoulder is bleeding. Good times.

Wow, that made me laugh out loud at my desk. People are looking at me funny...again. I can only say, I am happier than all hell that we are not driving all the way through to the Outer Banks tonight.

Woo! God has blessed me again by completely bypassing any sort of negative consequences to last night's drinking. Actually, I do feel pretty guilty... in an attempt to get Chad over by his room (and out of mine) at the end of last night, I told Chad it was the rabbit's fault Maryland lost. So the rabbit's cage got a good beating. One of those things that's really sad, yet really funny to watch.

You told Chad it was the rabbit's fault Maryland lost? Are you daft? Has anyone seen the rabbit lately? Why didn't you just tell him that the NIU DB who defended Latrez was the rabbit, or the ref who swallowed his flag was the rabbit. Rabbits are nervous anyway. Even money it doesn't survive the stay. Also, I think "One of those things that's really sad, yet really funny to watch" should be our slogan.

Yes, I see it now. "Irresponsibility Man: One of those things that's really sad, yet really funny to watch".

And the rabbit is as good as dead. If it were smart, it would take its own life.

What rabbit?

Sarah left her rabbit at our place for the weekend while she is in Illinois with her sister and mom.

Okay. Cause I was seeing stuff about scented candles, persian cats, bunny rabbits, ...

Anyway, I missed the game last night, but I got the message on my cell phone. That sucks.

Transcripts from the moments after the game:

(cage punching)

(glass breaking, fans breaking, us drinking)
