Say Goodbye to the Bar

Well, I've sold the bar. The guy's going to pick it up this weekend. But I'm keeping all the tap equipment, and when we redo a small room by the kitchen, we're going to make a wetbar with built in taps for beer and wine. For the homebrew, I can get 5 gallon kegs, so it's not too much for me to drink before it goes bad. And Irma will now have wine on tap.

A wine tap? So do you get like casks of wine or something?

Oh, and it's going to a good home. The guy buying it is a member of the home brew club- so he makes, and drinks, a lot of beer. He's already got his own multi tap system for it from his old bar that he's replacing.

Irma's brewing up a batch of wine. It's something like 6½ gallons. So, we'll put 5 gallons into a keg and the rest into bottles. The ingredients that go into making all that wine only cost about $30, so it works out to be pretty cost efficient.

It is a sad, sad day. So are you going to get a fridge that works for this new bar?

Yeah, I'm going to try and use the small fridge that I bought for my dorm room. Since I only plan on putting 5 gallon kegs (home brew) in it anyway.
